I'm back!

Hello everybody. I was going to register to sign up only to realize that I was still a member. I think my last post was back in 2005! I am back in another GM truck.

I had a '03 Sierra W/T extended cab. Broke down on me and I got a '04 Sierra W/T extended cab 4x4. Had that for a few years. Got rid of that and bought a brand new 2006 Chevy K2500 regular cab 4x4 with the 8.1! Loved that truck...this was back in the day when gas spiked up to $4/gallon. Yikes...did not keep it too long due to it only getting only 10mpg with no load and light acceleration. Sold it and got a '08 Lancer (garbage!!). Still had the '87 K20 truck...my beast. Had the truck crave again, sold the Lancer and picked up a 2009 Tundra double cab. At that time, was the best truck I had ever owned...but again fuel mileage was on par with that big block Chevy I had. Owned that till 2014. Got rid of it (and due to rust, the '87 K20). Bought a brand new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 3.0L Diesel. Wanted fuel mileage and something to tow our 20' travel trailer. Worked out well...for the first year...then all the stupid emissions and catalyst issues arose. Too many dealer visits and rental cars. Jeep left me stranded one weekend camping and put me into limp mode, while towing a 5000 lb travel trailer...not fun. Traded the Jeep in for my current ride; bought a used 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 All Terrain in the Cobalt Blue color, crew cab. Pretty awesome truck! I like it better than that Tundra! I do have some gripes/issues, but will save it for another post (that V8 to V4 sucks!!). More to come.
