As soon as I saw Phil’s video on YouTube this was something I had wanted to do to my truck. I spent months trying to find a console and had no luck. I finally contacted Phil about a harness to buy one for a future console and he was immediate help and even helped me find a console for my truck! The harness is amazing and helps make the console install extremely simple along with Phil’s YouTube video you can’t go wrong. Couldn’t be happier with the purchase!

Folks,

Just want to let everyone know that I’ll be on vacation next week 7/12 - 7/21.

All orders already booked will be built/Shipped before I go. I use your PayPal email address for the outbound shipment notification so be on the lookout for an email from the USPS.

I’ll be responding to threads/PMs as I am able to while on vacation.

Any orders booked after Friday 7/6 will be built after 7/21 and shipped in the order they were booked.

I’ll be building a small batch of these this weekend 7/7 - 7/8. So I’ll have a few of them for immediate shipment.

Thanks!

Do not hesitate on getting a harness from Phil!  You will save yourself a huge headache on trying to re-wire and will be able to re-sell your jump seat at a better cost keeping that harness intact.  His original posts to this thread and his youtube video make installation a breeze.

I have included a couple of photos of my completed console (sorry for rotation), decided that the 2EA USB's inside the console was plenty and had no use for the 3EA USB's up front.  I had rocker switches next to the drivers left knee (very poor placement and needed to be moved) so decided that the new location would be perfect.  Came out clean and flush, I couldn't be happier.  I highly recommend rocker switches here, I could have fit three there if needed.

All said and done, this ran me just over $750 to complete and I have not sold my jump seat yet to make up for some of that cost - worth every penny!!!

I am by no means an expert, but if anyone has any questions regarding my retrofit, feel free to message me.

Good day all and I just finished both a DL8-DL3 upgrade and a console swap.  After much research, decided to go with Phil’s harnesses and I can tell... do not hesitate, make life easier and purchase all your harnesses from Phil.  Customer service is superior and I was shocked to see Phil reply to my questions while he was enjoying a vacation with his family.

Thank you Phil for top quality products and your unparelleled customer service!!!

Hi all, I recently did a center console  retro fit in my 2018 Silverado 1500 z71. I used one of Phil Gamboas plug and play harness. His harness looks like a factory piece and made the project real simple. I purchased everything I-needed through Chevy the cost was about $950. Chevy won’t fill any orders for center console on the 2018 for some reason so I got the vin # from an 2019 2500 with my trim on the dealers lot and I was able to order one that way. The whole project cost me about $1200.

Big thanks to Phil Gamboa for the help.
