FS: 2017 Silverado 1500 HID OEM Headlights

Up for sale are my 2017 Silverado 1500 HID headlights. I’ve upgraded to the LTZ headlights.

 

Headlights are in near perfect condition. They have the chrome bezel. These are perfect for anyone looking for a replacement set or upgrading from a 2014-2015 to a 2016-2018 front end. They will not be sold individually.

 

Bulbs have roughly 5000 miles on them. Work perfectly. All 4 mounting tabs are 100% with nothing broken, no tabs missing.

 

If requested, I can also remove the headlight bezel trim for you before shipment...if you’re looking to color match or wrap with vinyl to match your truck.

 

These are for sale @ $1200 OBO for both. I’ll even throw in free shipping for Forum Members within the United States.

Do they look the same? Is one better than the other? What I find odd is that HID's are more expensive. You'd think they'd use LED on all the models.

The HID headlights are actually cheaper than the LED headlights.

 

Everyone was right on here, LED bulb & LED switchback turn signal.

From everything I've read, it appears as if HID's are brighter than LED's and if you live in a cold climate, the HID's will help melt the ice and snow built up on the headlights. The advantage for the LED is that it will last a lot longer providing it is properly cooled because they do run hot as hell.
