Brake Issue after front bearings replaced

I also read that rust on the hub might keep the sensor out too far from the ring and at low speeds activates the ABS. I'm going to pull it apart again and really clean the hub surface, reinstall the sensor, and see if that helps. I'll let you know. Thanks for the reply.

Oh yea that reminds me, yea i did clean it up as well. Mainly because i had a bit of anti seize on them. Maybe that helped....

Finally had a chance to pull the sensor back out. Sensor looked good. No debris on it. Spun the hub and the rotor looked fine down in the hole. A mechanic friend of mine said their could be a hairline crack in the rotor causing the problem at really low speed, but nothing was obvious. Plugged the hole and took some emery cloth to clean up the slightly rusty surface on the hub that the sensor mounted to. Put it back together. ABS pump still kicks in below 10 mph.

My solution for now was to pull the ABS fuse and live with the dash light on until I get the ambition to jump into this further. The hub and bearing assembly is perfectly fine after 226K miles except for the ABS issue.
