Interior lights stay on all the time

Recommended Posts

I have a 2015 silverado lt (true north edition) and as of yesterday morning, the interior lights won't turn off until after the truck has been turned off for a minute. Otherwise they stay on during my entire commute. I checked all my doors and they are closed.

So if anyone has an idea what could be causing this, I'd appreciate the insight. Failing that tho, can someone tell me which fuse (if any) I can pull out to at least get them to turn off while I'm driving home on the highway at night?

Did you check the switch in the overhead console that controls the lights.  There are 3 settings:  Off, Door and ON.  Sounds like it's in the ON position.

**sighs**

Well it turns out that there's a switch I've never seen before that turns them on all the time., just like you said. I even looked for said switch but my sunglass holder was open so I couldn't see it hiding there.

Thanks for helping.
