I power some amateur radio equipment in my trucks from a stud under the electrical center on the left side under the hood. Lift the shroud off that fuze center (you'll need to temporarily remove that semi-circular fender bracket above it) and you'll find a couple of fused studs under there. I use "Stud #1" which is fused at 30 or 40 amps, and also supplies power back to your trailer socket. This is an "unswitched" power source, so you can use it with the vehicle turned off.

Hmm, where'd you mount your strobes? In the corners/tails? Photos would be cool if you have or can get them.

When I had my '91 Silverado, I replaced the threaded the battery cable terminal (not sure if that's the right term to call it), that goes into the battery, with one that had a screw on the end so you could add accessories for power. Found it at CarQuest for a few dollars. You might be able to use one of those.
