Morimoto 35w D5S replacements (5500k or 6500k)

I bought 10x bulbs as I wanted a set for my own vehicle, so I got my wholesale discount.  I would like to offer these up as a 'group buy' to any members of this forum.

These are plug and play drop in HID replacements for the 25w OEM version of the headlamps that are used on nearly all of GM products now. If you are after some more light output let me know! These are a decent upgrade for very little time or cost (took 10 minutes to install on my 2016 Silverado). I bought 10 sets to get a better deal on the set I wanted for myself.

I tested the output with a Lux meter, the results are as follows:

OEM measured 295 Lux @ 25 feet

Morimoto 35W 6500k measured 520 Lux @ 25 feet

$350 shipped is retail, I can do significantly better due to purchasing so many. Assume ~18% off retail shipped in the lower 48.

If interested please PM and I can give you the final pricing, payment only through Paypal (as item to protect us both) and shipping will be via USPS with tracking.

OEM is on right, Morimoto is on left (6500k)

Out of stock on 5500k now...

Have 3x 6500k left.... PM me and make me an offer on the 6500k. I am basically at the bottom of my pricing structure (eating shipping and paypal costs) to meet my bottom on them.

Those work for the 2018 Sierra's? Or only the newer Silverados?

Not sure if those use LED only or HID, will need to look that up and get back with you.  1500 or 2500? Specific trim level?

With a 2016 Silverado LT w/ HIDs stock you'll be fine.  It's a plug and play.  Ballast is integrated into the HID bulb.

Remove dust cap, unplug/turn the bulb out.  Replace with new bulb, add dust cap back.  Should take all of 5 minutes.

Need to move those 6500k bulbs to re-order the popular 5500k.... any takers?

Is this FS thread done or did you ever reorder in bulk? 5500k

Pulling my hair out here... 2018 2500 Denali. Trying to find the most stock upgrade. Not trying to get crazy just yet. Need the most light output. 5500 or 6500? I know lumens are one thing. I just want to know personal reviews of which one is brighter. Color is not as important as actual clarity at night. Thanks.
