Front-end cover (Bra)

Recommended Posts

Anyone have info on where to get one? Went to GM, only have a hood bra, I want a full front-end cover (hood, bumper, etc.) I did see a guy driving around with one, but dont know where he got it. If anyone has info, or pics, let me know.

I use the bra for road trips, gotta love that painted front bumper!!

Thanks!!

look at my truck pics------i bought mine off e-bay last year-----one of the best investments i have ever made-----i only take it off once or twice a year to clean under it--but i do take the hood part off more often to clean under it more often :flag::flag::thumbs::thumbs:

Hey everyone, new guy here (although I belong to another; Chevy-talk). I have the ClearBra on my pickup. It's a clear laminate film that's applied onto the paint. Protects the hood and headlights (and other painted areas) from damage due to rock chips etc. I really like it and it works well. A little pricy at about $600 but I figure for the price I paid for my ride, it's worth it. The other bras can scratch the clear coat once dirt/dust gets underneath it. Plus they're a pain to put on/take off. There's a website out there somewhere. Just do a search on ClearBra. 3M also makes a similar product but it's a little thinner. Many luxury auto dealers (Lexus/Infiniti etc) carry the 3M stuff.

Hacksaw Hilliard-----contrary to popular belief--it only takes about 20 seconds to remove both pieces of my bra to clean under it and not since i put it on a year ago has it even attempted to scratch the paint----maybe you have had bad luck but i have had a bra on my last three trucks and cars and have not had any problems with any of them-----but this is only my 2 cts worth------plus 40 bucks compared to 600 is a whole lot better on the hip pocket---if i decide to trade i can thake mine with me----can you???????

TROYROBO, more power to you if you're satisfied with the product you use. I did use one on an Acrua TL last year. Drove with it from Oregon to New York to Texas and back to Oregon. Took it off when I got home and I was very surprised at all the scratches. A lot of dirt/dust did work it's way underneath the bra. I checked it at every gas fillup to make sure it was snug and tight. And no I can't reuse the ClearBra once it's taken off. But I wouldn't take it off anyway if I was trading. It probably wouldn't even fit the newer model I would be purchasing. :flag:
