8.1 almost in drive!!!

i thought i had it, 8.1 in detroit. i am approved by gmac on the financing. my dealer called the detroit dealer where i found the truck in the computer and its missing!!!! detroit may of shipped it to MN, but they dont have record. my dealer found 3 more. would you believe that some dealers have ordered 8.1 without the tow package anyway the other three were admiral blue, which i dont like, white, which i already had a white truck...dont want another, and pewter, which i could settle for. so he call the dealer where the pewter is located and they closed for the day. i should be able to get that one. by the way, make matters worse...we found my exact dream truck in pennsylvania. so my dealer called pennsylvania and the dealer there wont trade to other dealers crew cabs. my friend the dealer im working with, even offered to take them a 03 duramax dually crew cab, they said no! the truck has been on their lot for 120+ days anyway, we try gm truck locater and nothing else. so i think i will settle for the pewter, which is an sle not slt that i want. anyway just a little while ago i rechecked and guess what? i found another truck just like the first one i found in detroit , so im waiting until my dealer opens in the morning to give him the news. by the way keep your eyes peeled for me. i am looking for an 03 gmc sierra,slt, 8.1, allison, crew cab, 4x4, tow package. colors polo green , burgundy , dark blue , or settle for pewter. by the way i got so much $$$$ off i am tickled to death thanks to sonjaab and all of gms other rebates. he took a total of $10,000 from the sticker, wow! just need to find the truck, wish me luck. and one more thing gm should only offer pyo rimms. the truck i found has the other ones so i'll need to work out the pyo rimms too.

Nice choice of colors... I picked the 2002 polo green with the 6.0 instead of a burgundy with the 8.1(don't tow enough to need that much power)... Good luck finding a truck.. I know my dealer has nothing on the lot pretty much...
