New from Indiana

This isn't the first GM truck I've owned and technically speaking I don't own this one. My girlfriend does. She bought it by her self and needless to say I though she did good. It's a 2004 silverado crew cab 4x4 2500 NON HD. That's where the problems start. I'll try to make it as short as possible. Finding parts for this thing is a headache like no other. Engine light was on when she bought it, was told it was an o2 sensor. After me driving it a couple times I got tired of seeing the light. Had it ran, multiple misfires, knock sensors, list goes on. Went to replace knock sensors, back one wouldn't come out. Ended up costing me a bunch of money. Traveled 640 miles to get a fifth wheel camper. All was good. Got about 16 mpg on the way up and averaged 10.5 on the way back with it. On the way back threw some maf codes, changed air filter. All was good. Replaced ball joints, tie rod ends, and one axle seal. Driver side axle will not come out. This is the short, more has been done and more replaced. We leave for VA in less than a month. Truck has been wearing me out! Anyway, sorry for the rant. On to my first topic on this forum. Hope everyone is welcoming and willing to help! Seems like a good place from what lurking I have done
