I'd love to have this option.  How tough is the install? Also,  would the mirror caps I have now go into those?  Mine are blue matching the truck.

Very easy. Just plan a 1/2 day. Most get it done in a couple of hours.

I have videos showing the entire process here: the video here shows an upgrade to a tow mirror, but the bases are the same.

I must suck because, I tried to get the crome caps off the mirrors that are going on the truck and broke 1/2 the clips. it did worse on the secound mirror! FML

Phil, Would you be willing to do a trade for a set of OEM chrome cap tow mirrors (not powered), pnp harness (that I bought from you), and a normal switch for this powered set up?

 

Anyways, let me know cause i'm still on the fence. lol!
