Removing rear glass

Recommended Posts

I have done lots of auto glass and the tool I like the best is still the pull knife. Cut from the outside, if sharp cuts the urethane easily just use glass cleaner as a lubricant. 5a15931502a12800195a0cd882b32b0d.jpg101a97d9e487f93f9e16568a708c0cd7.jpg

I'm not a fan of the pull knives. Too many people make mistakes. A chip here and a scratch there in the window frame and now you have rust issues and a rotten window/windshield frame (at least in MN here). I like the Spider WRD. I won't go to an installer unless they have one of these. Period

Yeah, I tried using that as I do have one. It was scratching the hell out of the paint and it was being a PITA to cut the seal. The tool I used, cut it like butter, 15 min and I had to window out.
