Salvaged Title

Recommended Posts

In california, there is no law against it. There are loop holes. What would be fraud is if I took the salvaged title from Hawaii and altered it to physically remove the salvage brand. But I would not do that. If you look at the pics of my truck when it was wrecked youll see that there wasnt alot of damage. Cars are very expensive to repair in Hawaii so they salvage most of them and ship them to Ca. All I had to really do was put a new frame under it which I bought brand new from the dealer. The truck only has 8000 miles on it and it is good as new. It doesnt deserve the salvaged title. Take a look at it.

Any vehicle that needs a new frame installed is pretty much a basket case in my book. Suggesting that it rates a "clean" title and presenting it for later sale with this title is fraud, whether or not it is allowed under California law. Arguing that it might be eligible under some "loophole" makes it premeditated fraud.
