2017 Silverado New Purchase with 7 inch RC Lift from the dealer

When I bought my 2017 Sierra earlier this year it came with a levelling lift in the front (2"), Rockstar wheels and Toyo AT2 tires the dealership told me the GM warranty for my front suspension, wheels and tires were now void. However I would have a similar warranty by a third party warranty company to cover my front suspension, wheels and tires. Everything else on the truck is still covered by the factory GM warranty.

 

To the original poster did your dealership tell you the same thing?

They did not. They had the work done by a local company up the road from them, (they do that sometimes), they indicated the warranty would remain in tact because they had the work done prior to selling the truck as new. I suspect if I had an issue and went to another dealer like out of town or something I would have a problem getting them to honor it. But I'm not too concerned I have my truck serviced at this dealer as my brother in law works there.

Coming up quickly on one year since i purchased my 2017 Silverado. 

 

Quick update.  No issues so far at all. Just turned over 15,000 miles in a little over 11 months of ownership.  Two oil changes in that time.  Did a hand wash and wax over the weekend. Still love the red and black.
