I was considering buying two of these and having a shop weld then in but family vacations snuck up on me and I had to make a quick decision.

Negative the y-pipe is 2.5" diameter so in my opinion a muffler shop could easily fit those cats.

 

This is the large end of the slip fit ao the straight portions of the y are 2.5"
