Where do they hide all the electrical grounds?

I'm touching up all the grounds on my 2012. Essentially pulling them, wire brushing, adding electrical anti-corrosion compound, and reinstalling. Just PM stuff, not chasing any issues...

 

I found a group back by the fuel tank, a group under the driver's feet; both on the frame.

 

I found two on the cowling in front of the driver (engine compartment), one of those leads to the left rear corner of the engine (braid) and the other leads to the hood (plus a batch I've installed for various electronics).

 

I found another group on the front right corner of the engine (one for the battery and the other runs to the top of the engine).

 

I know I pulled one under the grill for the horn, that was a while ago...

 

The only group that was questionable was those attached to the aluminum engine block, there was corrosion at both locations. But I also oil my truck, so nothing is really rusty.

 

Any others? I'm thinking there may be one under the spare tire for the trailer harness or tail lights?

Come on forum...we talk all the time about "grounding issues" causing all sorts of odd behavior. Someone must have been down this path before now?!?

[2006 Yukon 1500 XL]

There's a component behind the interior right rear body trim(at the liftgate) with several wires. It's bolted to the body, below the small speaker mounted to the trim. It looks like it burned at some point. What is this component? Thanks.

I have a 2008 Silverado 2500 HD. A few weeks ago my entire bank #2 went out while towing and caused an entire mess. Long story short, three weeks later when I had time to troubleshoot I found that the ground wire that bank was bad. Where does that small black wire go and ground? It apparently shares the same ground as bank #1 (determined after snipping wire and providing a new ground pre main coil connector).

 

Obviously I have a broken wire or bad ground and want to know where exactly does this small ground wire channel to.
