Is their more HP in the '04 Duramax

I was looking through the 2004 RPO codes and came across Code PDN Heavy-Duty Power Package (includes LB7 engine) which is the Duramax. Has anybody heard anything on this or what this option is?

It has been rumored that the Dmax will get more power in Jan 04, but who knows.

A High Output Duramax option would be AWESOME.

I hopped on GM Dealerworld to get some of the updates for options and option codes, and found the PDN Heavy Duty Power Package. This option package includes:

-LB7 Duramax Diesel 6600

-M74 Allison 1000 5-speed

-G80 Locking rear differential

Essentially, its a quick way to order a nicely equipped DMAX truck with an Allison, probabally to save time (and maybe money?) when ordering your '04.
