Painted bumpers tend to chip and show chips very well. Chrome tends to last a little longer without chipping. So dont blame you on trying to get rid of them.

This is why you absolutely have to have the front end of monochrome vehicles film protected. It makes a world of difference.

It was a fun trip. I will post pics tomorrow, driving 1550 miles in coupled with working for 12 hours on the trucks all in one weekend was a lot. Totally worth it though. Doug is a stand up guy.

Here she is looking sexy as hell!

That's the first time I've seen it with all the bug guts removed. Looks great! Man, I was a nervous wreck the entire week before Saturday. I had taken my brand new truck apart and hired the parts painted a different color for some dude I didn't know who lived 750 miles away! And on the other side of the coin, you were driving 750 miles to trade parts with someone you've never met and I could have painted those pieces with a Krylon rattle can out in the gravel driveway for all you knew. Turns out there was nothing to worry about as Cody is a straight shooter. Everything turned out great and I could not be more pleased with the results.

I wonder if the chrome mustache under the front bumper can just pop on my front end or if I need a different bumper? I love that chrome piece

The bumper is the same. However, the black plastic air dam is different. You would have to obtain the chrome "mustache" and the air dam that goes with the mustache. Those two pieces would replace your stock air dam.
