Borla Catback/AFE Momentum GT

Recommended Posts

Due to unexpected circumstances, I may be trading off my 2016 sierra 5.3 crew cab. I recently (2 months ago) installed the borla catback #140550 and AFE Momentum GT #51-74104 at the same time. Each currently has 2900 miles of use. I HATE to trade and sure gonna miss both of these items, but not letting them go with truck if I trade. If anyone is interested, I'm in Texas. I won't ship, but will do a face to face cash deal. I'm a hour west of Weatherford TX. It's hard to take pics of exhaust underneath, but it's in nice condition. I've maintained it with the borla polish and kept it clean. I can get better pics once everything is off truck, but just putting a feeler out.

Exhaust $550

CAI $250

BOTH $700

If you are trading it in to a GM dealer see if they are interested in leaving stuff on truck, or if any of the mechanics are interested? Are you getting a Ford or Dodge?

I am trading to a GM dealer, but they told me I'd better taking off. They won't give anymore for it and prefer truck to be stock.

Pending deal on exhaust. AFE still available and I may have my bakflip mx4 for sale also.

How much would you sell your MX4 for?

I understand your frustration on the aftermarket parts. You can easily have thousands of dollars on the truck in accessories and the dealers just turn their noses up at trade in time. If you have a clean and well cared for truck you might just have exactly what someone else wants and be able to give them a great deal all around on it when compared to the dealers tradein value. Just keep in mind if you sell it yourself instead of doing a tradein with the dealer you will probably have to pay the sales taxes on that amount on your new truck. For instance if the dealer is allowing $40,700.00 for tradein value and you sell it yourself and live in TN (TN Sales Tax 7%) you will have to get a least $43,549.00 just to be even on the deal plus you have to fool with advertising it etc. Still I would prefer doing that rather than letting the dealer steal my truck and put it right on their lot at a 10k markup and sell it the next day at that price, Last time I traded in at the dealer the guy was there to purchase my old truck (obviously salesdude had him on speed dial) before I even had the paperwork done. I decided right then that I would rather have some control over the Butt Rape LOL

Put me down for the afe I'd pay $15 more to help with shipping . If you decide to ship it. I wouldn't imagine it to be more than $15-20 to ground ship if that.
