Greetings all

I am an Old Schooler getting my feet wet in the new age GM toys.

I am restoring a '67 GMC C1500 long bed. I am, however, upgrading the brakes, steering and drive line. In the process of doing this I have done a large amount of reading on different forums. GM-TRUCKS being the most recent one.

Since I am upgrading, I have purchased a couple donor vehicles for different parts. Some for the LS swap. I am installing an L83/6L80E, adding pwr disc brakes, pwr steering, AC, etc.

The '67 had a Magnum 351E V6 with a 3 on-the-tree. Very cool good running engine. But this will be my DD when it is finished so I chose to go with the modern more fuel efficient drive line.

I hope to gain some great knowledge from this forum.
