WiFi hotspot problem and it fixed itself?

Recommended Posts

Decided to purchase the unlimited data package and until Monday it worked great.

Fast forward to yesterday:

I could connect to the hotspot with no issues but my devices would say no internet access. Decided to push the OnStar button and after 30 seconds received the "unable to connect with OnStar" message.

I called OnStar on my cell and they could not contact the vehicle indicated "not in session." The rep asked if I had shut down the truck for over three minutes since Monday...Lol seriously?

Anyway after I went into the convenience store and back to the truck all was normal....Works fine.

I just purchased the unlimited data plantoo and I'm kinda waiting to see if it was a mistake or if they are going to raise the price down the road. $20 bucks seems kinda cheap. If I log into my onstar account it shows that there is under a gig remaining.

My wi fi hotspot sometimes comes up with a no internet signal on occasion, and I have a 2021!  Its not a lack of signal availability in the area, its just WONT CONNECT TO WI FI.  Its a bug!!  If you shut off the truck and wait ten minutes,  it magically starts working again.  I had this happen four or five times.  Your issue was in 2017!!  You would think four years later they would have fixed this.
