Finding Hidden Drains or Nooks

Anyone find spots that need attention from time to time to keep from rusting? A friend of mine has a truck that's about 6 years old and his rockers and cab corner have eaten through from exposure to cow manure. It got me thinking, I've never found any drain spots under the door rocker area that I could spray a little water in to be sure all the salt and crap is flushed. Any spots you've found that you can pass on so we can hit them with a good rinse?
