HD Tire label recall

There is a recall on the tire pressure label for 2001 trucks. I didn't get the recall notice, so I don't know what is the proper tire pressure for my truck.

The GM service line isn't much help. They can tell me the campaign number and everthing else, but

For a 2001 3500 ... what are the correct tire pressures?

Especially on trucks, door stickers are worthless. Look at the markings on your tire, especially the load range and go to tirerack.com and look at the specs.

The recall was for the 1500 2WD. They got the HD sticker instead of the LD sticker. The '01 1500 I had was recalled for this. Seemed like a wast of time and money to me, Chevy sent a letter with a new sticker to put on over the old on with the "correct" tire preasure recomendation. If your concerned about it just look at the tire preasure sticker on the drivers door. If you have a 1500 and your sticker says max PSI 85LBS then your in the recall, if it says MAX PSI 35LBS then your fine.

But now I see you have a 3500. You will here all different opinions from the guys here. My 245/75/16s Load E say max 85LBS but if you pump them all the way up it will be like riding on a rock. I keep mine at 50LBS and it's a comfortable ride
