Weathertech Floor Mats

Has anyone used their fitted mats in a truck w/ vinyl floor covering? They dont recommend it but sell a generic mat. I already have a pair of mats that slide around.

There's the 'gully' by the parking brake that gets full of crud in the winter. I've seen the mess under the vinyl & padding/insulation after a few years. Middle of the summer & the padding is soaking wet.

Do you have the two tabs that hold the mat in place? If not you could always try Velcro to hold them down.
