Ah, no, my truck is a Crew Cab...

I have a crew cab. Max tow is a package that increases towing/hauling capability from the factory. It can be built into any cab configuration.

I agree with CKNSLS. Towing a trailer within the specified limits of your truck should not require additions or modifications to your rear suspension. If you are regularly carrying heavy loads then enhancing the suspension is worthwhile.

For towing, yeah, WD hitch solves a lot of problems. But hauling to capacity, not a option. So keeping things level does sometimes call for additional help above OEM supplied suspension. A 1500 with any substantial weight in the back is going to squat like it is taking a dump. If one uses air bags, sumo springs, etc to assist with that, will work wonders also when it comes towing time. I realize it might sound quaint, but pickups were made to haul as well as towing, though many think that they were only made for the latter. Why not cover all the bases with some suspension support?

Glad you found what you needed I found air bags or similar products a nice addition to a truck.

I had the Sumo's installed on my 2500 in about 15-20 minutes including taking wheels off and back on and torquing them down. Last time I will have to mess with it. Maintenance free, no air, yet similar performance as air bags. Less than $200.
