Water wetter or purple ice -coolant additive

Recommended Posts

Not really much of a point to reduce coolant temps? If you really want to, put in a colder thermostat. You won't see any sort of benefit from doing this on a stock truck..............

Never have in my trucks. I use Water Wetter in my track bike because we're not allowed to run coolant. If we have a coolant leak, it makes for a dangerously slick track. All that to say, IMHO, there's no need to run it in street vehicles.

Used water wetter On the super dirt late model team i worked on. It never worked, we would still have over heating issues from time to time, and the engine always ran ran the same 180 degree warm up and 210 degree while racing. I see no need for it in a street vehicle. we only rain it cause the owner insisted and he was an idiot and a drunk.
