2016 Silverado exhaust options

Alright guys I need your input here. My 2016 Silverado regular cab currently has a Carven R muffler and it sounds nice but I'm looking for something louder. I have removed both flapper and resonator when installed Carven. I called my exhaust guy and he said if I want louder to dump the exhaust before the rear axle. Idk if I want to dump it or I'm thinking about a 3 inch exhaust with no muffler from the cats back and have it exit in front of rear passenger tire. Any help is appreciated.

I say you dump it first as it's the cheapest place to start... Actually free if you can cut it yourself. And go from there if you don't like it dumped maybe turn it before the axle. ...Good luck

You must get ridiculous chop. I have the tr with resonator and I can hear it but barely the r series is way louder

Yeah the chopping is definitely there but to me I don't mind it one bit. If I want to drone it out I just crank up the volume and instead of the chopping I hear my subwoofer lol

But others will hear the loud drone and say that truck sounds like crap. Chop and dump with AFM will make it sound like a crop duster on steroids. Horrible.

I axle dumped my flowmaster and it was noticeable now.

 

Stock exhaust=you could tell but it was a tad quiet still.

Axle dumped =much louder on accel does have a little more cabin noise I hardly noticed afm in town haha
