I was looking into the LT4 supercharger also, but it looks like it's only good for about 100hp with out cam and head mods.

With 5-6 psi pulley its a haur over 100.its only a 1.7.  I want it because im just trying to build afun street truck. nothing crazy. and also i got a price on onewith throttle body from chevy (helps to know people and it will be 1000 less for the setup than the maggie and 1500less than the whipple. Plus it looks cool

Iwill be running the 7 - 8 psi pulley though :)

Yeah, I pieced together a Cobalt supercharger for my G5, using custom parts and stuff.  I think for the truck I'll just get a complete kit and be one and done. It is easier on the wallet to buy stuff piece by piece though.

What sucks is I replaced a perfectly good Supercharger on a 2016 Z06 at work last year, but GM called the part back for inspection. I was hoping they  would have told us to scrap it.  That would have made my decision easy if I scored that for free. lol

Still deciding on Maggie or Whipple.

yeah, I've seen their videos on the install.  I think they got something like 250hp with the charger, heads and cam on a 6.2

Yup and e85.  I like it though. its cheaper,  looks good and to be honest with my small tires its hard enough keeping this truck straight so itwill be enough

So i pre installed the backup cam.  I had to swap the plastic arm mechanism from my handle to the new one.  Didnt do it right so the tailgate wouldnt unlock.

So i had to bend and rip my soft tonneau cover in order to get in the bed

So if anyone knows of a good soft cover thats sits flush or almost flush with the bed rails, let me know

I have seen a few LT4 superchargers for sale. All around $2500. Issue is you need the adapter to bolt up to LT1,l83,l86. Also I wouldn't bolt it on without the LT4 pump and injectors (not a issue on 6.2). Turbo is still half that price and more power, just saying!  Also you are limited on boost, unless you get crazy and reduce the pulley and over spin the charger but then I would question the "brick". Break that and the water dumps into the engine and hydro locks the block. Also if you wipe a rotor and need it fixed its $$$ and time. Check the vette forums. this is why these guys are selling them and bolting on Whipples. Just my opinion carry on.

What do they do for tune, maf, map? Wonder if it is SCIAP and a 3 bar map or just the lt4 file copied over. Or a LT4 maf or a breakout maf with input for map off non pressure side of the charger. Man now you have me curious. And what are you doing for exhaust CA has emissions right?

OH I see now break out for mafs map and IAT.

My tuner is the best in the bay area.  So im not worried about that part. Everyrhing else is staying stock.  Stock manifolds all that. Just a supercharger.  As for smog i have a guy 300 bucks.

1of the other reasons is if i were to get checked by a cop.  The lt4 looks somewhat oem amd is a gm part sp he might not even care. And my truck is failry quiet so it wont draw as much attention

CMS or RPM are two of the best around you. That come to mind.  Really unfair you have some of the best out there and around me not so much. My area had the best W2W/urban, D&D, and Banish.

Well just remember we need up dates and pictures! Thanks

Those are not in my area. 8 hours away.
