I traded off my 1500 with tow mirrors Phil helped me with in on a 2500 and the new 2500 came with non-power folding mirrors.

 

Phil worked with me to verify what was needed to upgrade to power-fold, with the 2500 with DPN mirrors it is a simple swap to DQS and a new power-fold switch, no harnesses needed.

 

Phil is a great resource! Thanks again!

What’s your budget? There are OEM mirrors and aftermarket. If you don’t care for bells and whistles like power fold or lighting features, you can get a basic aftermarket set for about $200 and not have to swap harnesses.

If you want lighting features, door harnesses are needed and you’re up to maybe $500. Power fold, and your up to about $800. OEM and that’ll take ya to about $1300.

Prices change frequently. As far a quality, there are reports that the mirror glass creeps out over time and need to readjusted. Upper glass vibrates a little more than OEM.

If you want power fold and mirror memory support, they are the only mirror that support that. Cost difference is about $500-$600 over OEM.

What about the quality between 1A and AM?  Are they actually the same mirrors?  AM is about $120 cheaper.
