So I have a '14 1500 SLT that means I would have to get the ecm calibration? Also how hard is it to modify factory harness with the diy kit?

If you have power Folding mirrors now, no calibrations have been required. Since you’re 2014, you’ll have the added work of needing/installing the RZY Jumper harness in addition. Your door jamb, cabin side will not have the cargo and running Lamp circuit pins present... so you’ll have to land those.

I bought some power folding, turn signal dl3 off a Sierra Denali but I’m gonna do oem tow mirrors instead. Anyone want these mirrors? I haven’t had enough posts to add it to the for sale area yet but I figure most everyone looking here is in this post for mirror related things anyway

Has anyone ordered and installed the deluxe power everything and memory tow mirrors from 1A Auto lately?  I have contacted them about the crossed blue wires, and they are saying their inventory is fine.  Just thought I'd ask real quick before I pull the trigger.  Thanks!

Just completed DL3 to DQS upgrade.  I had made a few attempts at local Chevy dealerships to obtain necessary parts but was dealt all sorts of bad information.

A few private messages to Phil @pgamboa and I was all dialed in.  Purchased harness from Phil and mirrors from GM parts supplier he recommended.  Phil even went one step further and modified the harness further for future work I have planned.

Harnesses arrived within a couple days, and mirrors shortly after.  Followed Phil's youtube install and things went flawlessly.  Phil's knowledge of all things related to wiring were extremely helpful.  Glad I found this forum and this thread before I made the mistake of going with misinformed dealers.

2017 2500 LTZ process

  1. purchase Phil's harness and OEM DQS mirror
  2. swap out factory harness for Phil's modified harness - simple, follow youtube video.
  3. install DQS mirrors
  4. test and button things up

Everything worked as expected.  Power fold, seat memory, power mirrors, turn signals, heated mirrors, all lighting.  No error codes.

Love the mirrors, couldn't be happier with the results.

I wanted to say thanks to Phil for helping me upgrade to towing mirrors with his custom harness.

Now that my upgrade is finished, I have two sets of mirrors for sale in case anyone is interested. You will need to work with Phil to get the required harness for your model.

Here are the pictures:

I have the used stock DL3 mirrors for sale from my Black LTZ (in great condition), which include power fold, indicator, dimming, memory, heating, and puddle lamps for ***SOLD***

I also have a set of brand new unopened Silverado Towing mirrors that have all of the options (without diesel sensor). They are AM Autoparts part number AM-2558332961 or 1A Auto part number 1AMRP01786for  ***SOLD***

Please PM me if you are interested, if I don't get any takers I am going to put them up on ebay. I am also going to list these in the for sale section.
