Shout out to pgamboa!! With his harness, I was able to upgrade to the DL3 mirrors in a little over a couple of hours, and everything worked fantastically!! Thanks again!!

I'm in the same boat...although I have a Chevy, that is freaking bad a-! Definitely want this!

This was supposed to have quoted the thread in regards to the GMC puddle lamp. I see now where to get them. Thanks guys, another great thread!

Anyone else have a problem with the mirrors migrating out?
Mine will come out about 1/4 in. Over a day or so.

You mean the actual fold position moves over time? Or the glass position? And is this on DL3 it Tow Mirrors?

My head is spinning after reading about 30 pages of this thread.

Ive been looking to upgrade to tow mirrors from my current non signaled/non power fold, but heated/power glass mirrors on my ‘16 Chevy 2500 LT 6.0 gasser(midnight hd if that matters) for some time now. Since I started researching a yr ago, Oem harness #’s have changed.  Truck side I do have all the correct pins for the applications I’d like including puddle lamp, turn signal, power glass, amber running lights.  After seeing the 1A auto issue, I’d rather stick with GM mirrors. I’d gladly purchase from you Phill if I need a certain custom harness? Any and all input is appreciated guys, thanks guys

Keith,

As long as you completely read the first post of this thread, you’re in good shape. For 2016, you are correct in that you will have everything from the truck (cabin side) in place. For this upgrade, you need a set of my harnesses and mirrors. If you want to gain power fold, you’ll need a new switch. Let me know if you want power Fold and I can create an upgrade path for you. Let me know if you want chrome or black mirror caps.

PM me for more info. Thanks!

Its the 1786 tow mirrors. They both keep extending outward. Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue and is it normal. These are my first tow mirrors.

Sorry if this has been covered.. I would like to go from Stock DL8's (heated and adjustable) to DPN's (heated and adjustable) that manually pull out for towing. . Can I do this without any major harness change outs etc? That's all I want. Nothing fancy.....

I have 2017 Z-71 Double Cab.....

Thanks for your time

Sure I would love to go auto everything but right now it is not in the budget.....

You would still need to swap your harnesses or modify your existing (if you are a DIY’er).

PnP = Swap harnesses
DIY Kit = modify your own harnesses.

I don't mind doing the work myself. Just don't know what to do? I am looking at Trail Ridge TR00012 - TRMRP00012 from 1-AAuto right now

These don’t have any lighting features so they should be Plug and Play. Nothing else needed. Now I haven’t seen these first hand... but based on the features, should be PnP for you.
