Stand up guy, prompt, and very knowledgeable. He took my truck from no power mirrors to full power tow mirrors, running lights, turn signals, puddle lights, reverse led lights and power folding. Thank you very much Phil!

I wish Phil could tell me how to wire my turn signals on my 2017 Canyon Denali but he can't as he hasn't done one yet !I have the Clear View mirrors on it now and no one knows how to wire them or if the harness connector on the door is prewired for them to buy a harness for them !  The dealer ship I bought them from won't help me !! Won't deal with them on my next purchase !!!  Just getting it off my chest !!

Let me see if I can find some schematics on this for ya. No guarantees, but willing to try and help.

Well, after reviewing the electrical schematics, it seems that the same X500 (Door Jamb connector) and X510 (Mirror connector) connectors are used in your truck.  Unfortunately, I don't see any turn signal circuits landed in either.  This tells me that no such mirror (from the Factory) exists for Canyon.  That doesn't mean you can't run some wire from the BCM (turn signal circuits) to illuminate an after market mirror and its turn signal.

Thanks for your effort Mr Gamboa !! Even the mechanics in the GMC department couldn't find any info on the wiring !!

GMUpfitter has the electrical schematics available for your truck.  While they used the same name for the connector, the connector itself is different than the connectors for the Silverado/Sierra.  It looks like the mirror connector (X510) for your truck is a 10-pin black connector (similar to the rear view mirror connector - if not exactly the same).  Looks like only 5 slots are used.  Also looking at the X500 connector (34-pin Black connector), there are unused slots for this.

So, in theory, you could land the turn signal circuit from the BCM (Splice), to the door jamb (X500) connector, then run from X500 to the X510.  Same for each side.  If you need additional help with this, let me know.  I think I might all the terminals for each the respective connectors. :)

This would be a cool challenge - LOL.

I used the ***66 and ***72 harnesses on my LT. The mirrors both work perfectly, even the cargo LEDs after I figured out that Cargo lamp switch had to be on.

The problem that I have run into is my window on the driver side has stopped working. I've checked for fuses and couldn't find any. Removed and reconnected all connectors with no luck. Could this be a faulty harness maybe?

How long before it stopped working?

After installation of the harness. In all fairness, the truck computer doesn't know my door is open, when I open it either. No chime, light, or cluster indicator.

Do you think its all on the same circuit? All other windows work fine...

As Phil said this would be a DYI project, factory did not provide wiring for lighted mirrors

This is usually an indication that the door lock connector (the last green one by the lock rod) is not plugged in. Maybe recheck this? While you’re in there, check the window motor connector. This might have come loose or not fully seated. This might be the reason why your window doesn’t work.

Am I allowed to offer up some DL3 Mirrors for sale in this thread?

I don’t mind but admins may. Also, people look for stuff to buy in the Marketplace. You have to have a 50 Post minimum to Post there.

Just want to send a shout out to Phil.  I just finished installing some 1A Auto tow mirrors on my 1500 Denali truck using Phil's DIY wiring harness kit.  Everything works perfectly, the instructions were very simple and clear.  Thanks Phil.
