They have amber running lights that face forward, red arrow lights in the mirrors, and the two little lights that point towards the rear when cargo light is on.

Ok good deal. You are the 5% of those that can upgrade without needing new harnesses.

All you should need is a set of DQS Power Fold Mirrors and a new switch (Switch should be 23154702)

I have a direct contact with a GM Supplier that has special pricing for my referrals of $520 mirror OTD, shipped anywhere in the US. PM me for more information.

Yes - There are two circuits you can tap the marker lights to. One is called “LED Backlight Dimming Control” - Circuit # 6817. Tying into this will fools the lighting that your buttons are tied to. They can be dimmed and turn off with the dimmer switch. On the main 41-Pin door jamb connector, it’s pin #29. On the 48-Pin connector that connectors to the door panel, it’s pin # 1. It is a yellow wire.

Made a video of the tap on the 48-Pin connector here.

The other circuit is called “LED Ambient Lighting Control” - Circuit # 7557. On the 41-Pin connector, it’s pin # 30. White wire with a yellow stripe. On the 48-Pin connector, it’s pin 2.

If I recall, They both come only come on at night.

Good Luck!

Thanks Pgamboa for the info!

Just finished up my passenger tow mirror this evening. I used circuit 7557 for my clearance light hook up. At first the light didn’t work. Turns out the harness from the door to the mirror (where you plug the mirror in) doesn’t have a ground. Easy fix, clip the ground from the mirror plug and throw a small self tap into the door, and bam “let there be light!”

YouTube view review coming soon of the ModifyStreet tow mirrors.

Here’s a quick view of the final t-tap modification.

Very cool! That missing ground stumps many. :)

I HAVE A 2015 CHEVY SILVERADO LT 2500HD CREW CAB WITH THE BIG CAMPER MIRRORS MANUAL FOLDING AND WANTING POWER FOLDING, THEY ARE POWER ADJUSTABLE.  I AM THINKING THEY ARE THE DPN STYLE. THEY ARE ALL BLACK WITH TURN SIGNAL, CLEARANCE LAMP AND CARGO LIGHT, THEY ARE NOT HEATED. I WAS TOLD TO INVESTIGATE THE DOOR JAMB AND SEE IF I HAVE PINS 9,11 AND 41 WHICH I DO ON THE DOOR SIDE BUT MISSING PIN #9 & 11 ON THE CAB SIDE. CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT MIRRORS I WOULD NEED AND IF I NEED ANY OTHER HARNESS TO GET THESE POWER FOLDING?

So... your truck came with these mirrors? Do all the lighting features on them? Specifically the cargo and running light? These are pin 9 and 11 so I suspect they are not working.

Yes. They are the stock mirrors and all the lights work. I got pictures I could email you if i could get your email. Thank you!

I am curious to know how the Cargo Lamp and Running Lamps work if you do NOT have pins 9 and 11 present in the door jamb (cabin side).  Was your truck purchased new?  Have a pic of the Glove Box RPO List you can PM Me?

Thanks,

Thanks,

I just purchased this truck so no I did not buy it new. I sent you a picture of a sticker in the glove box hopefully that's the RPO you need, please let me know if you got the pics. After looking at the pins again I must have been looking at the cabin pins on the right side, If I am looking at it correctly I do have pins 9 and 11.

In your case, if all the lighting portions of your mirror are functional, you would be the rare case where hanress swaps are not needed if you go to DQS Power Folding Mirrors.
