Do you still have your stock DL3 mirrors? If so, do you want to sell them?

I have new take off DL8(?) mirrors from 2013 and 2016 collecting dust in the box. 🤣

I’ve got a question about switching between tow mirrors. I have the 1aauto 1amrp01771 tow mirrrors installed and modified the door harness. I am going to have the mirrors warrantied out because the telescope slides out and mirror cover fell off while driving. They don’t have them in stock till mid may. But they do have the 1amrpo1786 mirrors in stock. If I upgrade to those mirrors would the puddle lamp function without any additional modifications to the door harness? Or would I need to change some other wires around?

I have a 2017 LT and originally had dl8 mirrors

This all sounds great, but what do you do if you have a standard work truck with no power in the mirrors and want to upgrade to tow mirrors with heat, lamps, rear facing leds, and turn signals in mirror along with electric adjust. But truck didn’t come standard with any of it.

I would love to do a swap, I have DL3 but I imagine it would be a logistical nightmare, especially because my truck is my daily driver lol.

Let me know if you want to get rid of the DL3s.

I have a 2011 Silverado 1500 LT  5.3L  4X4 (1LT RPO Code) with DL8 Mirrors RPO code.  I have heated, electric motion controlled mirrors (not towing mirrors), that are manual Folding Black Mirrors.  This is

LC9 Engine without NHT max trailering package, and I have PDU All Star Edition.

I am wanting to upgrade the DL8 mirrors to towing mirrors.  I have heated, electrically operating mirrors.   I would like to order the 1AAuto.com mirrors TRMRP00014 that will add the turn signals.  I would like the DIY harness to add the turn signal capability.  Thank you for all of the support you provide.  It is awesome.

I have a 2001 Chevy Silverado 4.8 liter 4X4. I would like to replace my manual closing mirrors to power folding mirrors. Presently I have power controls to adjust the mirrors only, NOT the entire side mirror folding in. I understand there will be wiring work involved along with a toggle switch installation to open and close the mirrors. Ideally I would like to have anti-glare mirrors with built in arrow signals in the mirror but at this point being able to power fold the mirrors in would be awesome.

instead of buying a brand new truck with these power options I wanted to upgrade my existing Silverado.

I'm hoping someone has done this project already. Any help would be great! Thx!

Anthony

HI all Looking for the right mirrors for my 2017 LT 1500.  I cant seem to find which mirrors are compatible.  Im seeing ranges from 2014-19 Chey/GMC trims.  Are any of those years compatible??  Excuse me if this has been ask as I tried going through this super long thread to no avail.   TYIA

These definitely work, however, you will need a new door harness or a hack to make them work properly. The after-market ones are really poorly made.
I had mine installed by the dealer.
