This seems to be the door panel harness that connects to the switches.

That shouldn't have been changed.  Need to see the door harness that plugs into the mirrors itself.  Round rubber boot in the door panel right before plugging into the mirror.

Okay, i just took apart the top of the panel off by the switches at work so that makes sense, after work ill take the whole door panel off and ill see what the complete harness part number is

That’s the reason you lost mirror memory functions, adjust functions and fold.

Those harnesses don’t support memory. So whoever provisioned those harnesses provisioned the wrong ones.

You will waste time with the dealer on BCM/Memory Module Cals.

Do all the lights works correctly? Cargo light, Turn Signals and Running Lights?

While you're at it, might as well send pics of the mirror connector so I can verify that they are indeed power fold mirrors.  Pics so I can see all the pins present/absent.

I already have it back together, and they do have the temperature sensor on the passenger side mirror, isnt that specifically for the dqs mirror? Also I've needed to manually close them to fit in certain shops and there is a great amount of resistance while trying to close them if you really need the picture i can pop the panel back off, idk if ypu can verify from just what i said

K40 Temp sensor is feature that is on DPN and DQS mirrors.  So a present temp sensor doesn't automatically make it a power fold mirror.  If you can manual fold/unfold, the mirror would be in a "floppy" state when manual manipulated.  So I suspect you have a manual fold mirror.

I would hate for you to continue down this path and learn the mirrors are manual fold.

Im pretty sure they are manual fold too after messing with them for a few, they were put on by the previous owner and he thought they were power folding too but guess not, do you have a link for a good set of dqs mirrors? I prefer oem but if there are power folding that will work i can do that. Will boost auto power folding mirrors work if i get the new harnesses along with the other functions i lost in my truck?

These are the harnesses you’ll need.

https://harnessdr.com/product/2014-2019-dl3-tow-mirror-upgrade-pnp-harness/

With this - I refund $100 if you send me the factory set of harnesses in your truck.

As for mirrors, I can source new GM DQS Mirrors. They are $1058 shipped anywhere in the US. With the PayPal invoice fee, is $1089.91.

I'm in the process of upgrading the factory full featured power fold mirrors on my 2017 Sierra Denali to the full featured power fold tow mirrors.

I have to say that @pgamboa has been a massive help & I mean massive! The time, quality and effort he has put into his gear is incredible ! Looks and performs as good (if not better) than OEM !

Phil,

I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT. It currently has DL8 mirrors I want to go to DPN towing mirrors. I want to use the gm mirrors part number 23372182 - a kit with both mirrors. If I don't care about the turn signal and courtesy lights on the mirror - just want the manual folding, heated, and remote adjustment for the top mirror, do I need the harness or can I simply replace the mirrors and plug in? According to the GM instructions I dont need the RZY harness. I would order your harness later if all that needs to be replaced is the harness with no additional wiring. The GM instructions have you going into the engine compartment and running additional power wires. Does your harness avoid that, and would your harness activate the turn signals in and on the mirror and cargo/courtesy light? I'd really appreciate your help. Sounds as if you've figured this wiring out entirely.

springerst94 when i did my 2014 chev lt, i put power folding tow mirrors on. i bought the power fold switch and installed the mirrors. the signal in the mirror worked and so did the power fold and the mirror adjustment works. what didnt work was the puddle lamp and the marker light on the front of the mirror. you have to to go to the engine compartment for the marker light on the front of the mirror because there is nowhere in side the truck for that. it takes a lot of time to add the extra wires to make everything work. if i was to ever do this again, i would definately buy the harnesses from Phil
