Yes I have power seats and memory. ..can the black caps be changed to chrome caps? ..i like the a1 but as u mention they are out of stock. I'm gonna call and check to see when they might be available. If I sent them to u can u modify them so they plug and play? Also do u know if the mat color of them can be painted to match the paint or is the texture wrong. Do they have changeable caps?

I am not sure if there caps are changeable. These mirrors were from another member who sent them to me for the purposes of customization and making them PnP.

If you order and send them to me, PM me for details on the process and cost.

As for painting the matte black caps, I am not sure on that as these were not mine. I was also reluctant on driving 5 miles on the road with them installed during testing.

Since the 1786 are out of stock, it looks like the 1771 are the next best option. I don't see what they don't have that the others do. Can u make the 1771 work?

As far as I know, 1786 are the only ones that support mirror memory. Let me look at 1771...

Wow, looks almost too good to be true. Your videos make it look that easy. I like everyone else am looking for tow mirrors. I have the power/heat LT mirrors and want to get the most out of whatever's available for me. No preset seats. But the puddle and reverse lights would be cool.

My goal here is to make it easy. GM didn't make the upgrade easy. I try to make it easy.

I've spent a lot of time understanding our trucks and try to take all guesswork out. I've have built over 100 individual harnesses exclusively for members on this forum to make this as PnP as possible.

Let me know how I can help you.

Thanks!

You do a good job. I just want to maintain features, heated, if they turn down in reverse would be awesome; however, haven't had that since my Audi S6. I like the reverse and puddle light features as well. Don't need chrome, turn signals are cool too.

I would want your PnP harness as well.

Reverse Tilt is only achievable if you have an LTZ/High Country & SLT/Denali trims.

As for the factory features like Turn Signal, Cargo Lamp (Courtesy), Park Lamp (Clearance), Power Fold.... these are all are easily achievable.

What's nice about the 1A Auto light (1AMRP01786) is they also have a puddle lamp in addition to the options above. Puddle lamps are only found on DL3 Mirrors, so that's what makes this set nice and sets itself apart from the other mirrors. Keep in mind that custom wiring is needed to make this light all function like Factory.

I no longer have this set as it belonged to another member, but it was a nice mirror I had opportunity to review and test.

I can make a custom harness, however, the mirror connector will not be pinned correctly and will need some customization. By default, the mirror will have pin 1 allocated for the Puddle lamp.

What I do, is move that to an unused slot on the connector (I move it to pin 6), then properly land (their unlanded) park lamp circuit to pin 1.

Then I make the custom harness to complete the circuits correctly.

I ordered the DIY dl8-dl3 kit from pgamboa. Installation was a BREEZE! He was there to help, if/when needed! The provided instructions were VERY clear and spot on! Took me about 2-3 hrs to install both sides. Probably could have been faster had I not picked up that first corona, that turned into 6. But I appreciate your help and knowledge! Everything works as it should!

Phil is awesome ordered the wiring upgrade and not only does it work perfect it was shipped within two days. Everything works as it should. And it looks factory as well

Installed my harnesses today in my 2016 Silverado LT everything works perfectly thank you!!

Thanks for the feedback guys! Truly appreciate having the opportunity to help you achieve your upgrade desires.

With that said - I have harness set ready to set. They are already built for the following scenarios:

LTZ/HC/SLT/Denali - Looking to upgrade from DL3 to Towing Mirrors

LT/SLE (and lower) - Looking to upgrade from DL8 Mirrors to DL3 Mirrors.

I have these already built and ready to ship. Can ship same day if payment is received by 1PM CST.

As always - I appreciate the opportunity to help with any of your mirror upgrade desires.

Let me know! Thanks everyone!

Bought a set of harnesses for my Dl3 upgrade from PGamboa and they worked great! He was hands on and answered any questions I had! Definitely a great buy if you're looking to just plug and play! Thanks again Phil

I was reluctant to ask another question about these mirrors as there are so many already, but here goes! We are going cross country in August, and to Alaska in 2018 towing our 36 foot 5th wheel. I have a 2015 Chevy 2500HD LTZ CC 4WD gasser. I have the small mirrors, DL3 that have heat, power adjust, power fold, memory, auto dim, in glass turn signals, puddle lamps, and reverse tilt. I must have trailer towing mirrors before I make these long distance trips. The question (finally!) is, can I buy GM mirrors that will be plug and play, without changing the wiring harnesses? I know there is an additional hole required. Will I need to have the computer control flashed?

Thanks for listening.... any help is appreciated!
