Pgamboa, I wanting to put tow mirrors on my truck. 2014 gmc sle crew cab 1500. I'm looking at

Buying the ones from pro tuning lab part # MIR-CSIL14S-G2-PWH-SM-SET web link http://www.protuninglab.com/20chsigmcsi1.html

Are these compatible with your harness. I don't care for power fold just everything else.

Thanks for your help

Hey there. 2014 will have its challenges and you require the RZY Jumper Harness in additional to my custom harness. As for those mirrors, they only provide 2 photos and it appears they will work.

Just keep in mind the amount of work around the RZY Jumper Harness. This harness complete the circuits from the door jamb connector into the cabin.

Rzy harness is it plug n play? Do you sell it as well?

Pretty straight forward swap?

Thanks

RZY Harness is not as straight forward. The installation instructions leave a lot to be desired. In the first post of this thread, I include a video on what is involved to install this. There are (3) locations you have the land the circuits.

Turn Signal (if needed) - Lands into the BCM

Cargo Lamp - Lands in the X61A Junction Box (black box next to the Brake pedal)

Park Lamp - Lands under the hood in the X50A Fuse Block.

I don't see stock these. They can be had on ebay between $90 - $110.

Both DPN and DQS mirrors have power adjust (mirrors adjust up/down - left/right). Not to be confused with Power Fold. DQS mirrors have Power Fold while DPN mirrors do not.

Hey been reading and following all these posts but still confused. Summer is coming and will be traveling with trailer cross county and these stock mirrors ain't gonna cut it. So confused so decided easiest just to ask. I have 2017 all terrain model black. I want "tow" mirrors that would be "black out edition" but plug play. I suck with electric. I'm really confused by dl3, dl8, DSQ, how seat memory comes into play, etc., etc. So could u just tell me what to buy that would work with ur harness(preferably with a link) I would like as many features as current ones as possible. Even if it means I should buy aftermarket ones that need I need to send to you to be modified first I'm interested. Please let me know through here and pm( I got alerts to see those quick) Thanks

Thanks for the post. We can discuss here or in PM. Here might be best so others would have access to the info.

Let's get started with your trim. You said you have a 2017 All Terrain - Is this the SLT Model? Do you have Seat Memory?

If you want a tow mirror that will retain all the functionality, then DQS is the way to go. These are power Folding, mirror memory (reverse tilt), heated etc.

These are chrome capped though.

So if you want to have black capped mirrors, to go with your midnight edition, DPN mirrors are black. But you'll lose power Fold.

So - to get the best of both worlds, the aftermarket set I tested from 1A Auto will give you the best of both worlds. Part # 1AMRP01786.

In addition to the factory features of the DQS, this mirror will also get you a bonus puddle lamp that shines downward like your existing DL3 mirror.

This aftermarket set will need customization so I'll need the mirrors in my possession. The harness will be specific to work with this mirror and in getting the extra puddle lamp to function like Factory.

FYI - These mirrors are out of stock as of now.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks,

Yes I have power seats and memory. ..can the black caps be changed to chrome caps? ..i like the a1 but as u mention they are out of stock. I'm gonna call and check to see when they might be available. If I sent them to u can u modify them so they plug and play? Also do u know if the mat color of them can be painted to match the paint or is the texture wrong. Do they have changeable caps?
