Been really wanting to get powdercoating done - how much work is involved with removing bumpers? or did you just drop it off at the shop? I know all plastics have to be removed :P

some good youtube vidz out there on removing the bumpers - the back one is essentially taking out the 6-8 bolts that hold the bumper to the frame, disconnecting the bumper electrical, and then you have to jack up the bed off of the frame 1-2 inches to lift the bumper up and over a couple of bolts that it sits on. Take out the sensors and all of the plastic stuff and wire looms - they will melt if powdercoated...

the front bumper is more involved - you have to take off the top radiator cover, the side moldings, the upper bumper cover, the grille, and then disconnect electrical and undo approx 8 bolts and pull out the bumper. let me know if you can't find the videos, and I'll post them.
