New Black 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 slt 6.2 4x4 z71 build

I figured I would start a build thread.. A few weeks ago I traded in my white '15 slt(leveled, 22" sey gmc wheels, roll n lock) for a new '17 with the 6.2/8spd. Its blk/blk slt 1500 4x4 z71 with all options.

With 300 miles I did the following:

amp powersteps

6" fabtech performance kit

20x10 -19 hostile sprockets blk with milling

35x12.5 toyo oc at2's

afe cai

custom tune

roll n lock metal a series

20% tint and windshield strip

anderson drop/rise hitch and locks

underseat storage, center console storage, gm weathertech front and rear mats

Next week it gets second round of mods..

-lifting frontend 1.5" to level with rearend

-gm premium tow mirors with full power along with both harnesses(painting caps glossy black to match and adding clear screens with switchback white to amber LEDs)

-bushwacker boss fender flares(painted glossy black to match)

-'17 denali grill(outer and inner painted glossy black to match-leaving GMC red/chrome)

-powdercoat front and rear bumpers

Considering going with a zone 1.5" body lift.. 37s would be cool but not sure i 7.5" lift is enough to clear.. They did already trim the valance and trim the backside of the front fenders.

I think Ill be done after the next round of mods.. Need to get ready for my next sports car purchase :D

Pics to come after next round of mods..

this weekend I had a Bola s type catback installed and I removed all of the Sierra and slt emblems. looks much cleaner IMO.

tomorrow Im throwing on some custom 6.2 emblems..

next week shes going in for the painted denali grill, tow mirrors, and a few other mods. Also bought a hornblaster 544 nightmare kit just for those a$$hats that give ya road rage!

Both nice looking units!! Really digging the white one. Black is coming along quite nicely..

Nice truck. That's a hell of a round 1!

U cant powdercoat the sensors they will melt

Been really wanting to get powdercoating done - how much work is involved with removing bumpers? or did you just drop it off at the shop? I know all plastics have to be removed :P
