Detailing..foam cannon with electric PR. Washer

Vicarod, I agree ...Their prices are pretty steep. What I've notice on the cannons from videos I've watched is either some foam but are runny and othsrs are clam and snowy and thick. I watched a video on this

Do you use the one you linked. I'll spend the 50 bucks for a good cannon but like you said if it's cheap and still works...Great. Just wanna make sure the one I get I'm happy with and not disappointed in it. If you agree the o e you listed is a good cannon I'll get that one.

I bought that cannon to use with my harbor freight electric pressure washer and chemical guys honeydew soap. It did ok, but was runny. It was better than my old bucket method.

So what's the deal with Rinsing away all the foam. Is it a pain or does it wash away pretty easily? This is one of the items missing from all my detailing stuff.

Three nothing wrong with your foam cannon. its the pressure washer. If you can, try your same set up but try it with a Gas power washer and you will see the difference. Also changing your soap to water ratio will help also.

Just looked at mine. Bought it from CG about 3 yrs ago, ha! It is an MTM though. P/N: 14.0263.

Can't speak for the other one I sent.

I feel mine works really well. I don't use it much anymore. Instead I use a foam gun. Less foam and real runny...but less of a PITA to set up.

I need your opinions, I now want to try out the whole foam cannon and pressure washing process. I wash and detail my truck nothing crazy but usually with a bucket and a wash MIT but it's time to upgrade. I'm looking into buying the Greenworks 1600 psi pressure washer and not sure to go with Chemical Guys or Adam's Polishes? Is one better then the other or practically the same?

I feel that Adam's stuff in general is better than CG.

 

That being said...I use CG's Citrus Wash and Gloss almost exclusively to clean the cars I maintain.

 

For paint sealant I do like CG's Jetseal...as well as Adam's Paint Sealant.
