Struts for 3.5 RC lift?

Recommended Posts

Yep, you are correct, I just went to their site.

So, here is the million dollar questions. Seeing how I have a new truck, I want to keep it as "stock" as possible. I really a 4" lift, for now it will be just for looks, and a 33" tire, nothing super wide. I have done some research, I want o keep my shafts as close to stock angle as possible. Will I need spacers for the kit you recommend? Will the tires stick out much from the body? I don't plan on running 36" tires for a while. Which kit out there would best fit my description?

I have the RC 3.5lift on my 16 Sierra SLT Z71 4x4 and have no complaints. The only cut that was really serious to me was the one to make space for the front differential. Truck has been in for service and warranty repairs related to the 8 speed trans and neither dealerships have mentioned anything about the lift.

That kit requires those with stock wheels to buy .25" wheel spacers to clear, but thats hardly noticeable.

While more expensive, the ReadyLift 4" kit will be easier to install as no cutting of anything other than the factory plastic air dam is required. This kit also includes UCAs to reduce any bumpsteer and provide great handling. Its under $800 from us.

How far out will the ReadyLift 4" make the tires and rims sit from stock? What angle will the shafts be at? I plan on going with 20" rims eventually, what offset and such will I need to stay as close to stock as I can? Or , does this cover stock 18" as well as 20" rims as well?

I know it's a lot of questions, but I am just about ready to pull the trigger on the kit, and I want/need as much info as possible, to make w ell informed decision.

33" Maximum tire diameter

33x11.50 for no rub on a 9" wide wheel with +6 offset

18" - 295/65R18

20" - 285/60R20

22" - 285/50R22
