2015 Silverado 1500 w/ REFLECTOR Headlights, LED upgrade

Ok, Im sorry if this has been asked already, but I have been looking in to this for a little over a week now and cannot find anything. I have the 2015 Silverado 1500 with the reflector style headlights. I am thinking about upgrading to LED headlights. I am reading a lot of people saying that you can only use them in the projector headlights. I just put a set of XenonHID LED in my fog lights and love them. However, I am looking for light throw distance AND brightness. Any ideas??

They are correct, do not put them in your reflector housing, you will blind the crap out of everyone. At the very least buy the OEM projector headlights or go aftermarket and buy LED specific housings. HID and LED have different light disbursement so LED specific is best but projector would suffice.

not to call anyone out but LED/HID on reflector is not safe for other drivers on the road. We do not own the road, we share them. Please be courteous to other drivers.

I have night - lux led's in my projecter headlamps - low / hi / fog , & NO problem . just make sure your headlights are adjusted . most people rasie / lower there truck and forget there headlights
