LB7 Exhaust & Turbo

Hi All I have a 2002 GMC Sierra 2500HD crew cab long bed powered by the LB7 Duramax. it currently has the super quiet stock exhaust, and i want to make it louder as cheap as possible. does anyone know if there is a muffler delete, a pipe to bypass the huge muffler? and also how about the turbo silencer, is it removable? thanks, Jim

I did the mufler chop off on mine .I had a guy at my house one day and we were leaning on the bed of his truck and he had a bunch of pieces of pipe. one was a S sorta bend .I asked what it was and he said conduit that he bent wrong and was scrapping it. I took it and it was bent perfect to delete my muffler. I ran the truck this way a couple years and it was cool at first but at hyway speeds it had a nasty drone in the cab. I was making a trip to fl. so I welded the muffler back in. after we got back I bought a 4" turbo back and streight through muffler. much better now but its still kinda loud. I guess I am getting old. lol
