Airlift suspensions helper spring removal

Recommended Posts

Ok so I put the airlift 5000 suspension helper on my 2014 Silverado 1500 along with the airlift wireless one controller and compressor. My question is the ride of the truck as well as the height has changed a little and I was thinking about removing all the springs except the main spring to keep the rear axle centered was wondering if anyone else had done this or something similar and what their thoughts were

You'll have a lot of axle wrap with that. If you really want to you would need track bars or you'll twist up the single leaf. With the air bags holding the weight mostly I bet it would ride better. 5c4c2fb24ed197b2b5b11bb4ed4f25d1.jpg
