Can anyone recommend a dealer in North East- Long Island preferably

Recommended Posts

Hey guys figured ill kill 2 birds with on shot.

Im a newbie to GM Trucks and trucks in general, mostly SUV guy.

Anyways purchased my home and its time to buy a pickup. Made up my mind with a Sierra 1500 SLT Crew Cab Short Box with a Crew Cab Package or the Slt Premium.

Im wondering if anyone can recommend me a dealer in the north east area, preferably long island, New York where I can get a great deal. I dont mind traveling to purchase but the problem is that if out of state most dealers wont lease, only finance.

The MSRP for the trucks im looking at range from $49-$52. Im kinda boggled that I see some of you guys get 15%-25% off. Ive tried with no success, the dealers wont even listen. Seems to me ive either dealt with crappy dealers or the market here in NY is just different.

Any suggestions?

i went to Fairfields in Keene, NH, 3 weeks ago and got 30% off a 2016 Sierra double cab SLT.

thats a little ways for you but it would be worth it. None of the dealers near me would deal. i bought my previous Sierra from a dealer about 45 miles away, i have several local but none would deal. When i bought my 2013 Camaro SS I had to go to Springfield Mass., about 100 miles from me.

i doubt you will get 30% off a 2017.

laura's is probably over 1000 miles from you. lotta people fly in there and drive it home. but you would 1000 miles on your new truck. they are taking $11,000 off new Sierra Crew cab slt's

I do not live out there, but you can use dealerrater.com to at least try to find the better dealerships. Keep in mind not all dealers are on their site.

http://www.dealerrater.com/directory/11791/GMC/ Sun Auto Group Buick GMC shows up at the top using 11791 zip code.

Though would have to think the cost of doing business will almost have to be higher on Long Island than in other parts of NY?
