OK, who's the TBI wizard around here???

It depends on how radical the cam is. Ed Wright did the one for our '91 Z28 and it only took him 8 tries to get it wright ( :sigh: ). Best bet would be to get a shop to dyno tune you a custom chip. (~$500 first time, usually discount for repeat customer)

I think unless your running a cam really close to stock, yes you need a custom chip. My truck runs terrible with the stock chip in it. My cam is something around a 210/215 duration. The company that burned my chip no longer exists.

 

Ed Wright burns chips, and I heard about a company today called TBIchips.com . You might check that out.

 

Edelbrock sells a custom chip with their custom TBI cam if your looking at that cam.
