That's poor design to place the radio antenna in that location, on the side of the fender instead of on the top. They should know that it would be in a bad area for car washes.

I can't wait for the bi metal battles of time synching into these masters of engineering compilations...

the beginning is just mechanical slaps to the girly face.

woops.

I mean girly slaps to the mechanical face. No need for domestic abuse.

And a GM truck will do the same. So will a Ram so will a Toyota. They use stupidly thin metal on vehicles now.

Yeah, no kidding. The last day I had that P.O.S. 2006 Taco, I was standing in the bed washing it and leaned VERY GENTLY on the top of the X-Cab with my left hand and the top caved in and left a permanent dent 1/2 inch deep and a foot across. The next day I traded it in for the GMC.

They are all super thin compared to a just a few years ago I understand/know. Just feel the door of a AL F150 is all I am saying and make a determination yourself is all!

The guy is an idiot, leaving his antenna installed while going through a rotating car wash is never a good idea.

heh, we ran our truck though the car wash today, and the VERY FIRST thing I told dad to do (I was driving) before we entered was "Remove the Antenna!"
