Truck looks awesome. I would agree with your comment about the aggressive tread as I have 275/60/20 in just Michelins and they do not rub at all with a 2" lift.

Thanks Doobs, yea I'm just gonna trim it. I really didn't want to but oh well. Trucks never even used to have those liners anyway hahaha

Does your silverado have the inner wheel well liners or not? I was thinking that I might step up a size when I replace the tires but I do NOT want lift my truck. Does not look like very much room around these factory 275/55 R20's to the wheel liners!

I still have everything factory in my wheel wells. No rubbing with zero lift and the 275/60/20s.

I don't think I'll ever be able to decide between 2in level w 275/60/20 or 2.5in with 1in taller block and 275/65/20.

hahaha yeah I am in the same boat as I mentioned earlier in this thread...I put a deposit down for layaway on BFG ta K02's in 275/60 (running dedicated winter tires @ the moment so took advantage of not having to pay for the BGF's all @ once) - I changed it to 275/65 then back to 275/60 again lol!

The sales rep @ the tire store was like "dude - I have these in stock all the time, just decide when you get them installed & if you don't like how they fit/look you can make up your mind then" - so that's what I'm gonna do, go w/ the 275/65's & I'll have a day or 2 to drive around on them & decide if they're right or not....there's only a 3.5 lb difference between the 2 sizes, but the 275/65 is 34" 10 ply while the 275/60 is 33" 8 ply

Thanks man! I couldn't be happier with it myself. It's a Motofab 2" in the front and 1" in the rear (2" blocks) but I also have Hellwig 987 helper springs on the rear so they brought it up about an inch as well.

It has about 2" of rake... I was shooting for 1.5" but that's how it turned out. I do tow a TT in the summer months so I wanted some rake. The Hellwig's stiffin the ride but not much. Very pleased with how it looks and feels.

SierraJon,

How are you liking the Hellwig 987 with the 2" blocks? I just put a 2.5" RC level kit, but was switching up to 3" blocks and I have been reading about the Hellwig and I was debating to put a set on with my 3" blocks but wasn't sure. I am looking at putting Toyo AT2 295/55r20 or 305/55r20's on my ride, leaning towards the 305's.

So far they are great. The ride is a little more firm in the rear but I kinda think it's for the better. Definitely not to a fault. I haven't towed the TT with it yet... It's winterized. So I can't speak to that yet.

Just put some (275/60R20 Cooper H/T Plus with -12 offset rims) on a 2014 Silverado only leveled with Bilstein 5100's. Doesn't rub going forward at all, maybe if you hit a bump on full turn but I tried some turns at full with no run. DOES rub in reverse at just a titch before full turn in either direction. Very noticeable rub but nothing that will hurt anything. Again this is with a -12 offset rim. Sounds like stock offset rims will not rub.

Guys that are running 275/60/20 on stock suspension, did your fuel mileage decrease or remain the same? How's the ride vs stock? I know there is only a 1" difference between the this tire and factory, but I would think fuel mileage would slightly decrease in stop and go driving. I am getting Yokohama ATs in either this size or the factory 275/55/20 on factory all terrain wheels, so I'm hoping there would be no rub whatsoever as I don't really want to level it. Thanks.

Mine decreased about 2 mpg or so from the factory Continental CrossContacts. Feels like city driving suffered more than highway. Ride is probably firmer and I feel like my chevy shake is a tad worse, but with placebo factored in there probably isn't much of a difference in the ride itself. I'm going to be switching to 17's and Fierce Attitudes, also on stock suspension, soon as well.
