Show your high mileage on 2014+ 1500 Silverado/Sierra

Recommended Posts

2016 LT crewcab, 129463. Replaced upper and lower A-arms, front bearings(110,000 miles), transmission(126,000 miles), catalytic converter(under warranty). Likes to through P219A code every once in a while. No catch can or AFM delete. Although since I added E rated tires AFM doesn't kick in much anymore.

By my calculations, my 2015 Silverado would have about 90K, had it not gotten totaled 2 years ago.  My 2018 currently has about 25K, and is parked until my wife and daughter (both) return to work, minus the occasional Home Depot and/or Lowe's runs.  Been putting the little bit of fuel savings towards some of our small bills, trying to get out of debt (AGAIN! We were down to vehicles & house payments, until.....the wreck ruined it for us).

2014 Silverado 1500, 180k. Many highway miles, new fuel pump and ac condenser and transmission blew at 160k because previous owner would leave the truck on auto instead of two wheel drive all the time.

No, Your trans blew because of the crappy Torque Converter issue. Mine went at 120k miles on my 2014. About 30k miles after getting a dealer trans flush done.

Have you gotten that service before 160k?

122k 14' 5.3 6spd 3.42 Just had the trans flushed and new filter n gasket today. I keep up on the maintenance. Had the condenser go out at 85k. New plugs, 10.4mm wires, catch can, trans thermo delete. Been great so far (knock on wood) will definitely keep her! 20' front calipers n rotors coming soon along with 5100's all around. 8c70ee177c356a04538e00f57d9b8b92.jpg

That's the truth, had trans flush at 92k preventive maintenance thinking here. 12k later trans goes out. Glad I bought the extended warranty only paid deductible. You can say the extended warranty paid for it self in this instance.

2015 Yukon Denali

90k miles

lots of warranty work

new trans 14k

#6 failed lifter

new fuel injector

ac condensor

radiator

3 of 4 mrc shocks

2 fuel pumps

GPS antenna

battery / ground cable

pulley tensioner

headlight lens fogged and replaced

several sensors

tow brake/ gain switch

blower fan hvac

without my extended warranty , I’d be F’d.

Would love to get 200k out of this, but not sure I want to foot the bill to get there if I continue to have significant issues.

I maintain all of my vehicles meticulously, so I expect better.  Lots of cheaply made components that fail way too early.

Oil changes 5k full syn

Diff, transfer case Trans fluids changed at 40k- with syn fluids

coolant and brake fluids flushed.

I'm at 73,500 and I'm getting transmission drain and filter change. I'm not having flush done to many people have problems after that. Hope I don't have problems after having it done. It shifts fine now with no problems.

Love the height, low but not too low. Perfect

What’s the setup? Pro’s and con’s of that setup? Ie hitting front lip on curb, ride quality, etc. Do you ever haul any weight in the bed? (Its ok if you don’t i wont judge)

Grumps where's yours at?  Are you out of winter storage yet?  These K2's love the Salt, the more the better!  I am about to hit 135K and she is just barely holding it together!

Right after the February freeze we had a nice warm up. Trickle charged the battery. Quick check of the fluids. Had not started her for the last 10 weeks. When the key got just near she jumped to life and purrr' d like a kitten with a bowl of warm milk.

Your going to pass me. Not quite 135,000.

Your really need to take better care of the sand whipped pup you drive 😉 Barely holding together indeed

Luke is whipping us both

152,789 on my 15 SIlverado LTZ Z71. My 6.2 is stock with no catch can, full AFM, and no problems :)

And that's a year ago!

195K and counting on the Silverado...6.2 still sans catch can, full AFM, and returning up to 20 MPG over 300-400 miles!

Transmission got a new valve body due to suspected cooked solenoids....shifting indicates problem solved!
