2017 Denali 6.2 motor, 2 stage throttle, anyone else notice this ?

I tried this on my 17 Denali and couldn't get it to"kickdown." Does the pedal height make a difference?

Interesting maybe the Max tow (NHT) trucks do NOT have this? Could sling the trailer off the hitch with a 6.2 8spd.............. saw that happen in a movie once "Six pack" with Kenny Rogers. Safety is Job #1 at GM man

Kickdown Mode

The accelerator pedal provides an additional downshift after pressing through the kickdown feature.

It requires extra pedal pressure near the end of its travel to engage.

should be on all engines.

6.2 NHT here, yes the detent is there.

I do not believe is achieves any more throttle, just an additional gear drop if available
